Adventures in Cooking

Okay I have been venturing out of my little comfort zone and have decided to try new recipes and cook more often.  On the advice of my friend Sheri I have decided to share some of those creations here as well.

I will include recipes if I have them, but sometimes I just throw things together and hope it mutates into something good to eat!

This recipe is from a friend and I fell in love with it from first taste....and more importantly it keeps in the fridge for several weeks, Yay!!!

Next time I make this I will slice much thinner.  This can served alone as a salad, as a side dish, or like we are going to have for today's dinner...on fish tacos, yummy.  Can't wait!

Cards, Cards, Cards!!!

Today I got to spend time with my women friends and create several cards for future classes!  Stamp a Stacks are so fun, because you get to make several of one item and are able to keep one for yourself.

I always enjoy my time spent with friends whether it is cooking, crafting, sewing, crocheting or just hanging out!  Who could ask for more than that!

Okay,I keep putting off posting anything because of picture quality. So this posting is going to be with less than stellar quality pictures so that I can get some of my creations out there...


It is what it is and hopefully I will get a few new people to join my classes as I add new postings.


First off, thanks my dearest friend Sheri for being my first friend (hopefully there will be others)

This was a favorite at Christmas and I have enjoyed making these Menu's for my girls.  If you would like to learn how to make this a tutorial will follow.

I love to create decor for my home inexpensively and free is even better!  I invite you on this journey with me and my friends in my endeavor into art....Seriously we are just here to have fun!

Tutorials will be posted online as well as kits available for anyone that wants to create along with us.  So just send me a note and I will help you to follow along even if you can't join me.  

Excited doesn't even begin to describe how I feel about finally getting started, moving forward and releasing my inner artist....

Happy 3nd Birthday my sweet, adorable, funny little grandson Nathan!  I can't believe it has been 3 years since you joined our family.  We love and adore your cute face, Gramma just wants to pinch those cheeks.
